Help shape Parkinson’s UK’s finance team, systems, insight and processes by partnering across the charity to support vital research, better care and people affected by Parkinson’s.
Parkinson’s UK is delighted to be partnering with Altum Consulting on a significant finance recruitment campaign as the Operations directorate enters the next stage of its transformation. As part of this campaign, Parkinson’s UK is seeking to fill the following finance roles:
Finance Systems Lead (FTC to June 2028) - Lead the procurement and implementation of a new core finance system.
Senior Management Accountant - Lead on management accounting, financial reporting and process improvement across the charity.
Finance Business Partner (x3) - Be a strategic advisor and trusted partner to your business areas providing high-quality financial analysis and insight.
Parkinson’s UK funds vital research, campaigns for better care and provides support to people affected by Parkinson’s. The charity is in a fortunate position within the sector, with secure funding and the ability to invest in its people, systems and longer-term ambitions in order to best support those affected by Parkinson’s.
Following a major directorate restructure that began last year, the most substantial changes have already taken place. The focus is now on building a strong, collaborative finance team, improving systems and processes, and supporting the delivery of an ambitious five-year strategy.
This is an opportunity to join a supportive leadership team at a point when new colleagues will have a genuine say in how the finance function develops, without having to navigate the uncertainty of the initial restructure.
These are broad roles that will contribute to helping Finance become a more proactive partner to the wider organisation. Successful candidates for these roles will have a real opportunity to shape the development of financial systems, insights and processes at Parkinson’s UK.
